Biography

Hi, I'm Dario. I live in Alzano Lombardo, a small city about 50km north-east from Milan, Italy. I have a deep passion for programming and technology, for logic problems and science. I am also the founder of Webrain, if you have a project to realize or if you wanna work with me, feel free to send me a message.

I attended High School at the technical institute P.Paleocapa in Bergamo, before taking a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2011, at the University of Milan - La Statale.

I worked with a lot of web agency, from 2005 with Gardaweb.net as a web programmer, then with Logos Comunic@ from 2007. In 2008 I worked with OneUp and in 2009 I become a freelance web developer. My self-managed company is called Webrain.

In summer 2008 I attended the fourth edition of Google Summer Of Code, as a student for Drupal. I realized an XSS vulnerability scanner. In summer 2009 I attended again the Google Summer of Code, realizing a knowledge management system strongly based upon peer review.

I attended some conferences, starting from Szeged DrupalCon in 2008. Then I had a session at the first italian DrupalDay, speaking about security. In 2009 I was one of the organizers of the first DrupalCamp Italy in Crema. There I spoke about the vulnerabilities founded inside Drupal 6.x. I'm one of the founders of the Associazione Italiana DrupalItalia but I am not attending anymore because of time issues.
Since 2009 I am a member of GrUSP (PHP italian developers user group). I had a session at the PHPDay 2009 in Verona speaking about Drupal with a Marco. Later, at the PHPDay 2010 in Corropoli (TE) I had a session about Security Testing.

Since 2009 I am a member of the Bergamo Linux User Group too. I attended at LinuxDay 2009 and 2010, where I took a session about Drupal and a session about Django. I also made a four lessons course about Drupal in 2009.

I love every geek thing, not just because I love using that, but because I really like to open, look inside and understand how that works. I love the Open Source and everyone that makes stuff with passion. I think that only with passion you can achieve the best results.
I'm a fan of Guybrush Threepwood and Sheldon Cooper, and I listen punk-rock music. I love everything is Irish, specially the Great Highland Bagpipe sound and Guinness beer.
